Trying to revise for my theory driving test
My theory driving test was coming nearer and I knew I had less and less time to prepare. I had to make an important decision. Two days before my test, I got up very early, had breakfast and a cup of hot coffee and opened my books. I was going to study till midnight no matter how tired I felt. I was not going to waste the money I had paid for my theory driving test or re-book the it. I had been studying for an hour when I heard somebody knock at my door. I opened the door and saw my neighbour with her dashhound. She told me she had to visit her ill mother in the hospital, would I take care of her dog for a couple of hours? I sometimes have problems with saying no. I said: ‘No problem, I"m not doing anything important". Not at all. My neighbour looked relieved. She left the dog with me and set off. I sat down on the sofa and started reading the traffic code again. The dog ran straight to the kitchen. He was looking for something there, and I found it really difficult to concentrate. He appeared in the living room eventually, dragging my kitchen rug in his mouth. It seemed funny, so I just snatched the rug out of his mouth and put it on the wardrobe. I opened the book on a mock theory driving test. I could not focus on it either. Suddenly he jumped on the window sill and started barking at something outside.
